Volunteering

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Fort Worth uses volunteers everyday to help change the odds for our youth. Opportunities are available for individuals and corporations through our Day of Caring. Examples of volunteer opportunities include:

• • Homework helper/tutor—Assist with homework, reading and computers
• • Event help—volunteer at one of our many fund-raising events
• • Athletic assistant—Coaching, scorekeeping, etc.
• • Office assistant—Answer phones, file, make copies
• • Sorting assistant—Help organize books, toys, and clothing throughout the year
• • Special projects—Share your special talents with our kids

Safety of our youth is a paramount concern. We require all individual volunteers to:

• • Be at least 18 years old
• • Complete a Volunteer Application Form
• • Pass a background check
• • Attend an orientation/training session
